Photographer-in-Residence at
Camp Denali, located more than 90-miles from the entrance to
DenalI National Park and Preserve.
When we arrived the last week of August the
tundra was still green with only
hints of color. Less than a week later the
colors were blazing, from the
blueberry bushes to
red bear berry.
Each day the snow level dropped until a
dusting of snow came to the mountain passes.
It was a magical week complete with glimpses of
North America's tallest mountain,
Denali or the
