Arizona Raft Adventures (AzRA) for a 2-week river expedition through the Grand Canyon
The 2014 Expedition was led by photographer,
Dave Edwards, along with 5 other professional river guides, who rowed oar-powered rafts down the river from Lee's Ferry to Diamond Creek, navigating 226 river miles through 150 named rapids.
The photo opportunities in the Grand Canyon are endless, limited only by your physical endurance and keeping your camera gear working in the harsh desert environment. The water, sand, and rock along the river not only takes its toll on your body, but also is certain death to cameras and lenses without proper precautions.
The next river expedition with
AzRA is already being planned for May 2016.
