Antarctica is the highest, coldest, windiest continent on earth. And for many, the most
beautiful. Travel here is for the adventurous. Although we come here for the
penguins, it is the
ice that captures our imagination. Cloaked in ice, the Antarctic Peninsula is locked in pack ice each winter. In summer, the place is
alive with nesting, breeding, and feeding
animals.
